Spiritual Care Training

Where: CEDAR GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH, 2608 East 15th Street, Panama City, FL 32405.

When: Saturday, February 11, 2012

Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - No pre-registration required - lunch will be provided.

Northwest Coast Baptist Association will be hoisting a special Florida Disaster Relief Training Saturday February 11th, 2012 starting at 9am to 3pm. This training is for SPIRITUAL CARE, and will be an expanded version of the "Barnabas Class", which is taught at our Regional DR Trainings. It will also include the new OSFA (Operational Stress First Aid) material.. There is no charge and no pre registration. Just come and bring anyone who may be interested: church staff, deacons, benevolence workers, Sunday Schoolteachers, those who work with the military or those who may work with prisonministries or troubled youth, as well as any and all church members whowould like to learn how to better minister to family, friends, fellow churchmembers, or coworkers. If you are a current Disaster Relief Volunteer, you will get credit for this training. And, those who so desire can let Marc Johnston know that they want to be a part of the new "Spiritual Care Teams", which he will beforming for our DR Ministry. For those who are not DR Volunteers, this willnot make you a part of Disaster Relief. But, the material can be extremelybeneficial in many other areas.
